Ballymena Show is supported by the two local Young Farmers Clubs, (Glarryford and Lisnamurrican) who organise Tractor Handling, Jeep Challenge and the Chariot for Charity competition.

CHARIOT for CHARITY competition (Kindly Sponsored by Style 'N' Sport, Ballymena):
Teams of 4 persons had the task of building and racing a chariot under strict conditions - added fun for the public were the costumes of the chariot driver with judging done by Robin Swann, an avid YFC supporter, while our loveable Paul Dempster gave a running commentary of the activities. 1st place was awarded to Lylehill YFC and the NI Hospice will benefit from £150 prize money while 2nd place went with Glarryford YFC with prize money being allocated to the Chest Heart and Stroke Association.
Congratulations are extended to all the winners and thanks go to those who took part, as well as the sponsors and volunteers who supported the event.
Looking forward to next year's challenge already!
