Ballymena Show Awards Dinner Dance for 2009 was held on 18th September at Ross Park Hotel, Kells, Ballymena with over 170 in attendance. Guest speaker for the evening was Mr Graham Furey, President of the Ulster Farmers Union and his wife kindly presented the trophies. Also included was Mr Tom Elliot, from the Agricultural Committee for Stormont and a pleasant evening was enjoyed by all. |

Most Appropriately Dressed at the 2010 show were Mr Jimmy McClintock and Mrs Sylvia Graham and prize vouchers were kindly sponsored by David Bellingham Menswear and Wallaces of Church Street, Ballymena. |

In the Crafts section 2009, Carniny Primary School walked away with the Jane’s Kitchen trophy for the most points in the schools section while Gracehill and Galgorm WI took the Runcimann bowl for the most points in the WI section. Once again, Wilson House Resource Centre had the most points in their section and were awarded the Ballymena Medical Supplies trophy. |
