Ballymena Show Chairman, Mr Randal Hayes, presented the Ballymena Medical Supplies trophy to Members and Staff at Wilson House Resource Centre for gaining the most points at the 2009 show in their section.  Wilson House have been very successful in winning this trophy over the past few years and tribute is paid to the members who enjoy participating and the dedication of the staff in assisting with entrance procedures.  Members are keen to take part in knitting, colouring, painting, craft, woodwork and lots more.

Show Secretary, Mrs Jane Lamont, presented the Ballymena Borough Council Runcimann Bowl to Gracehill and Galgorm WI for gaining the most points in the Womens Institute section at the show in 2009. Congratulations are extended to the winners but thanks to all those exhibitors who took part.  The Womens Institute play an integral role in agricultural shows and Ballymena Show looks forward to working closely with Slemish Area WI committee for the 2010 show.  Class lists will soon be available - sign up for our Newsletter or check the website during February 2010.
